Pessimistic or Optimistic?
Which one are you? I really think that there is a more correct Grey area in that. How could you either always see the best or always see the worst and justify that? Its best to see the "truth" in a situation. Why fool yourself with a fake cheery outlook? And, why always be depressed with a constantly negative outlook? Just take the situation for what it is, good for good and bad for bad.

The Entity of God
What is god? Is there such a thing as god? An actual physical entity that represents an almighty being whom has control of our world and our lives? One cannot have a completely "correct" opinion on such a concept. There are many different views on the whole concept.
The main views are that there is one god, there are several gods, there is no god, or that there is a collective god. The theory with one god is the theory that most major religions in the world follow (Islam, Judaism, and Christianity). These religions believe that one entity, an almighty entity, created the heavens and the earth and put the human race and all other living things on earth.
The several gods theory, one that has died out in mainstream religions describes our world as basically a game that the gods play to amuse themselves. The religions include the ancient pagan religions as seen in early ancient Rome and ancient Greece. The no god theory, or atheism, is a more scientifically sound theory, which basically states that there is no almighty power holding our world together, and our world keeps turning because of the laws of science. This ideology states that humans were evolved from earlier forms of life.
The last theory, of a collective god, is more or less that of spirituality, that all living souls collectively represent the binding force that runs our world. This force is the miracle force that single god religions call their "god" and multi-god religions referred to as the game of the gods, and atheism, does not have an exact term for.

Did you know...
That about 2% of all people see numbers in colours? This slows them to distinguish between numbers faster, which is a test of the severity of the condition. The reason for this condition is that the brains of these people have the colour and number sections close, and the membrane between them is thinner than usual allowing faster, more efficient flow of thought through these sections of the brain. This condition allows us to use our "creativity" more freely and people with this condition usually end in fields of innovative study. Depending on how severe the condition is, the person could see numbers in colours or shades or depths. Musicians, those who have a talent for reading and analyzing music at high speeds allowing them to sightread much better usually have this condition.
Do you have this condition?

Merely Floating...
Humor me. Let's take a trip on a cloud, floating over the vast expanse of thought. Thought. Where did all the thought go? Consider for a moment, all of those people that came before us. How much thought did they put in to this world and how it works and all the questions they about it. Now consider us. Especially the generation in their teens now. Those with "fresh minds" so to say. The ones with all the wonder. Where has the wonder, the thought and the expansion of the mind gone. We boast that ours is the generation that is most intellectually and culturally sophisticated. But are we really? Do we sit with our peers and discuss the intellectual topics regularly?
While your floating.
Try to grasp at answers to the questions.

New Poll!
Ok, since the first poll was such an interesting experience, I just put up another poll.
Cheers!
Cheers!
The Poll
I’ve been observing the poll…and it really does show something. It isn’t directed at any group of people in particular; however the results are very interesting. According to the poll, 64% of the all who responded think that the worst that can happen to them is that they have no significant other in their lives (like a boy/girl friend). Another 23% are worried that they might suddenly become immortal. The other 11% are worried about being mortal humans, who will die eventually.
These results raises a few very interesting points about the nature of the people, at least those who have responded. None of them think having a significant other can be a burden, where as the older couples get, the more and more they complain! Most of them are worried about never having a significant other. That really shows us how most people’s mind works, revolving around love life. The people that are worried about never dying are the most rational in mind. When you think about it, to live forever is not the blessing it sounds like. Imagine, living on, outliving your friends, your family, your significant other. Your life would start to lose any comfort or emotion. The reverse can be seen in the ones who thought dying would be a bad thing. Those are the people who are always worried that they won’t live long enough. But the question is…live long enough to do what?
Please leave comments contradicting me, or strengthening the points I made, or making points I missed.
I will update the polls regularly. They help get a sense of the readers.

Lets Begin
Why? Why do we live in a society where everything is either black or white and our actions can either be good or bad? Where did all that gray go? Where did the notion of progress go? The progress that brings an entire spectrum of righteousness into our lives, which would truly show us who we are. Our whole society is so determined on fitting every instance of time into a specific category that we have forgotten the whole point of living. We are constantly worrying about how we will be judged, how we will be ranked, how we will be separated from the rest of the society.
